As a thank you to our trusted Ingress Agents, we’re happy to share that your Ingress username is being reserved for you to use in our new real world game, Pokémon GO. If you haven't done so already, be sure to claim your username by Monday 9/26/16.

Take these steps to apply your Ingress username to Pokémon GO:

1. Download the Pokémon GO app in either the Play Store or the App Store.
2. Create a new account using the same login email as your Ingress account.
3. Claim your Ingress username and use it for your Trainer name in the new Pokémon GO app.*
We value you as a Niantic customer and we hope you plan to expand your real world gaming experience with us to Pokémon GO. Download the app now to take advantage of this limited-time opportunity to bring your Ingress Agent name over to your next real world adventure.

Sincerely,

The Niantic Team

*NOTE: Some restrictions may apply, including use of Pokémon-related names and inappropriate names, given that our Pokémon GO codename filter is much stronger than the original filter used for Ingress.
