เมื่อคืนนี้ นินเทนโดจัดแถลงข่าว Pokemon Direct รอบใหม่ ประกาศข่าวเกี่ยวกับเกมซีรีส์ Pokemon ชุดใหญ่ ข่าวสำคัญคือเกมภาคหลักภาคล่าสุด Pokémon Sword and Shield จะมีเนื้อหาอัพเดตที่เรียกว่า Expansion Pass เพิ่มเข้ามา (เหมือนเป็นภาคเสริมหรือ DLC ของ Pokemon) ตัว Expansion Pass จะแยกเป็น 2 ส่วนคือ The Isle of Armor ออกเดือนมิถุนายน 2020 และ The Crown Tundra ออกช่วงปลายปี 2020 สิ่งที่เป็นลูกเล่นตามสไตล์ Pokemon คือ Expansion Pass ของ Sword กับ Shield จะมีเนื้อหาไม่เหมือนกันซะทีเดียว นินเทนโดเผยข้อมูลของ The Isle of Armor ออกมาเยอะกว่า มีทั้งตัวละครใหม่ๆ อย่าง Mustard ที่จะมาเป็นอาจารย์ของตัวเอกในภาคเสริมนี้, คู่แข่งหน้าใหม่ Klara สายพิษ (Sword) และ Avery สายพลังจิต (Shield), โปเกมอนในตำนานตัวใหม่ประจำภาคนี้คือ Kubfu ที่วิวัฒนาการเป็น Urshifu ได้ One of the most important people you'll encounter in The Isle of Armor is Mustard, who will be your mentor.
