    นินเทนโดนำเกม Pokemon ภาคแรกสุด Red, Blue, Yellow กลับมาลงเครื่อง 3DS ในรูปแบบ Virtual Console แล้ว เกมจะยังคงกราฟิกขาวดำแบบต้นฉบับทุกประการ แต่เพิ่มความสามารถในการเทรดโปเกมอนแบบไร้สาย เหมือนกับเกม Pokemon รุ่นหลังๆ (ของเดิมต้องใช้สายเคเบิลต่อเชื่อม)

    เกมจะขายผ่าน Nintendo eShop ในวันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2016 (วันเดียวกับที่ Pokemon Red วางขายครั้งแรกในปี 1996)
